Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile is spending Halloween with the Southern Tier.

The Halloweenie mobile made its first stop at the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club.
The Wiener Mobile is encouraging kids to "Trick or Treat" for canned goods.

It's part of a weeklong food drive to benefit CHOW.

Binghamton Police were also on hand to talk to kids about Halloween safety.

'We have a lot of power with the Wienermobile to spread good news, so that's what we want to know. We could hear the kids screaming instead, how excited they were. To bring a smile to their faces is our main goal..." says Maria Loida, a Hot Dogger with the Oscar Mayer Weiner.

If you want to tour the inside of the Wiener Mobile, it will make several stops around our area through the weekend.

And if you bring a canned good to donate to CHOW, you could win a ride in the giant hot dog.

Wednesday evening, the Weinermobile will be at the Manley's Mighty Mart on East Main Street in Endicott from 6:30 until 8:30 pm.

On Thursday, look for the giant hot dog at the Endicott Price Chopper on North Street. It will be there from 1:00 until 6:00 pm.

Then, on Friday, it will ride into Binghamton. You can check it out at the Manley's Mighty Mart on Front Street from noon until 2:00 pm.

Later that night, you can find it outside of the Binghamton Senator's Game, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

On Saturday, the Weinermobile gets into the Halloween spirit. It will be at the Discovery Center on Morgan Road in Binghamton that morning, from 10 am until 1:30 pm.

The Binghamton Police Department will also be on hand to teach kids about Halloween safety.

Then that afternoon, you can watch the giant hot dog in action, riding down Court Street in downtown Binghamton, for the city's Halloween Parade.

Saturday evening, it heads to the Bearcats Sport Complex at Binghamton University.

Look for it at the Binghamton Bearcat Soccer Game from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

On Sunday afternoon, the Weinermobile will visit the winner's neighborhoods.

That's where kids will be able to "Trick or Treat" for canned goods.

At 7:00pm, it will be at the CHOW Warehouse.
