Bowling tourney to aid ramp program

The Broome County Council of Churches is holding the “Knock ‘Em Down for Ramp It Up” bowling tournament at noon Oct. 23 to raise money to build wheelchair ramps for the elderly and the infirm. The event will be held at Sunset Lanes in Kirkwood.
The tournament will include three games of bowling, shoe rental, food and beverages, gifts and prizes. The registration fee is $20 per person with four people on a team. The event runs until 4 p.m., with bowling starting at 12:30 p.m.
