BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- If you drive through Broome County this week, you may find yourself sharing the road with the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile.

The Wienermobile is making its way through the county this week, stopping at places like the Price Chopper in Endicott for fans to get an up close glimpse. It's one of six wieAs the 'hot-doggers' who man the mobiles will tell you, their appearances are not just promotional, they're also for a good cause.
"We're collecting canned goods and we're going to at the end of the week, donate them all to CHOW, the local food bank here. Hopefully we can make a difference with the community by donating some canned goods," said Sam Fromkim, Oscar Meyer Hotdoffer.
"We're quite excited about it. It's kind of a fun way to collect food and keep awareness up that we're gonna need a lot of food for the winter months," said CHOW Director Ed Blaine.
The Wienermobile will be in town until Sunday.
